Counseling
What is it?
The Apostle Paul in Hebrews chapter 12 says: “let us lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely.” But I think we’ve all experienced this being much easier said than done. We all have hurts, habits, and hang ups that still entangle us even after we’ve become Christians, things holding us back from becoming the person God has redeemed us to be. Here at CCC counseling, we hope to provide a safe place with trained counselors that could aid your process of navigating through these issues through Biblical lenses.
What to expect?
The Bible says that though the Kingdom of God is here through the work of Christ on the cross, the fulness of it will not be fully accomplished until He comes again. For the Christian this means two things in regards to counseling: have high hopes for change because the Spirit of Christ is in you, but also realistic hopes because we are not yet in heaven. The journey toward wholeness will look different for everyone, and we are here to walk alongside you.
Who is it for?
CCC members who feel like they need additional help processing certain issue(s) that can’t be processed adequately by their Community Group or Bible Study leaders. It is important to first give the body of Christ the opportunity to minister to one another, however, we do acknowledge that certain issues require deeper care. This is where CCC counseling hopes to come in and offer assistance. Unfortunately, due to a lack of resources, CCC is only able to provide counseling for those who reside in Jakarta and regularly attend CCC because they consider CCC their home church.
